Go behind the scenes at the Minster’s famous Stoneyard; see the ancient craft skills and the masons at work; visit the plaster cast museum and drawing office; option for a trip up the South Quite Aisle scaffolding (conditions apply)

Saturday 23 May

‘Meet’ St William, Patron Saint of York; experience his life through the Minster’s St William Window (one of the most important pieces of stained glass in the world); see his stone coffin in the Western Crypt. Then to the Yorkshire Museum to learn about his shrine, once among the largest in England.

FCM lunch

 

Five choral services over the weekend sung by the Minster Choir, plus a short piano recital for FCM members.
