Support for fundraising from other sources
FCM’s Diamond Fund for Choristers works alongside choral foundations to help raise funds from other sources.
Understanding the financial needs of choristers nationwide is the first step towards engaging donors. Such needs might include voice and instrument training, bursaries, recruitment, outreach, but this list is not exhaustive.
Choral foundations are strongly encouraged to consider requesting a specific project grant. Please provide basic information such as a description of proposal, start date, duration, funding required, and the urgency of the request.
Details of funding ideas may be submitted at any time. There is no limit to the number nor minimum time gap between requests, and no limit to the cost.
No undertaking is given that a request will be successful as this depends entirely on finding a donor willing to fund it. However, DFC actively develops close links with potential donors who wish to be connected with specific projects or specific areas, and welcomes proposals.
Please send a brief email outlining the need and approximate cost to firstname.lastname@example.org. A member of DFC will contact you if further information is required. (Please give contact details.)
Information provided by cathedrals in 2016/17 about their project needs remains valid. Please let us know if you wish to update this.
